Yes."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>One of our takeaways from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonbikelaw.com\/blog\/dont-miss-washington-bike-laws-bike-everywhere-day-celebration-station-may-18.html\">Bike Everywhere Day<\/a> is that many people don\u2019t quite know what Washington Bike Law (WBL) does\u2026 are we an advocacy organization or are we a law firm? We also represent people who were not injured on bikes (like people walking and even occasionally people driving), but more than 90% of our clients are bicyclists.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Who we are:<\/strong> We are three advocate\/attorneys (Bob, Rob and Jessica), two advocate\/paralegals (Lauranne and Kimberly) and one advocate\/law clerk (Nick). Bob has volunteered for more than a decade there and sits on its <a href=\"https:\/\/bikeworks.org\/about\/board-directors\/\">board<\/a>. Bob is also on the <a href=\"http:\/\/seattlegreenways.org\/about\/ourpeople\/\">board<\/a> of <a href=\"http:\/\/seattlegreenways.org\/\">Seattle Neighborhood Greenways.<\/a>\u00a0Bob has been a Major Donor to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cascade.org\/\">Cascade Bicycle Club<\/a> as well as a contributor to <a href=\"http:\/\/wabikes.org\/\">Washington Bikes<\/a> and to\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/wabikes.org\/washington-bike-pac\/\">Washington Bike PAC.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Jessica started and runs the nonprofit <a href=\"https:\/\/nwcxproject.wordpress.com\/\">NWCX Projec<\/a>t and is a volunteer coach with the <a href=\"http:\/\/washingtonleague.org\/\">Washington Student Cycling League<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Kimberly came to WBL from <a href=\"https:\/\/peopleforbikes.org\/\">PeopleForBikes<\/a> and founded <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/nycbiketrain?lang=en\">NYCBiketrain<\/a> to encourage and support new bike commuters.<\/p>\n<p>WBL advocates outside of the courtroom for legislative changes to the law like a presumption of liability against drivers involved in collisions with pedestrians or bicyclists.
