Bicyclists are often frustrated by traffic lights that respond to cars, but not to bikes.\u00a0 Here is a line of bicyclists waiting under the West Seattle Bridge yesterday:<\/p>\n

After a few signal cycles, what can you do?\u00a0 Well, sometimes you can do this:<\/p>\n

But, at the intersection pictured above (and lots of other places in Seattle), bicycles actually haven’t been forgotten.<\/p>\n

Look for the T painted near the stop line:<\/p>\n

Ride up to it, stop directly on it, and (eventually) you’ll get a green light.<\/p>\n

This has been around for a few years now<\/a>, but it seems like many people don’t know about it.<\/p>\n
